Caring for Kupuna

The Caring for Kupuna Program is very near and dear to our Executive Director. This program exists to honor elders by turning love, gratitude, and respect into practical support. Through this program, TBS-BIA helps meet real-life needs that affect the dignity and well-being of kupuna, including meals, health-related support, daily-living assistance, and recognition of faithful service. The program reflects the belief that elders should be cared for, appreciated, and uplifted, not merely remembered in word, but supported through meaningful action.

Another organization, the Hawaii VA Foundation, has a program to assist Kupuna who may need someone to pick up groceries and necessary supplies each week. Click on "Our Kupuna" to get more information about this wonderful program to assist the elderly.
